BIOGRAPHY

As an artist I am passionate about colour and texture and my work is a reflection of this. Everyone is affected & responds to colour and texture. It can affect mood, and evoke psychological associations.

My 1st class degree at the prestigious Glasgow school of Art provided me with a solid foundation in art techniques, theory & materials. My background as a Printed Textile designer for fashion & Interiors, Interior Decorator, & Colour Trend Forecaster has given me a unique perspective on how to create compelling visual experiences.

​My paintings consist of large canvases which follow a colour story, portraying mood, light, depth and texture . Using thick textured paint mainly acrylic with mixed mediums & palette knife techniques to create a wide range of textures, colours, space & mark making . My paintings are immediate, accessible, mood enhancing, vibrant & visually engaging.
